1. Services Provided
Trash Retriever offers scheduled curbside trash can retrieval and return services to residential and commercial customers in Liberty, Missouri and surrounding areas. Service details, packages, and fees are available on our website and marketing materials.
2. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure trash cans are accessible at the scheduled service time.
- Secure any hazardous, oversized, or prohibited items before service.
- Provide accurate contact, billing, and service location information.
- Notify Trash Retriever of any changes to service needs, address, or billing information.
3. Payments & Billing
- Fees are billed according to the selected service plan (subscription or one-time).
- Payments are due on the billing cycle specified at sign-up.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or cancellation of service.
- All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.
4. Cancellations & Termination
- Customers may cancel at any time by providing written notice (email or phone).
- Trash Retriever reserves the right to suspend or terminate service for non-payment, violation of these Terms, or unsafe conditions.
5. Liability Disclaimer
- Trash Retriever is not responsible for damage to trash cans caused by third parties, weather, or normal wear and tear.
- Service is provided on an “as-is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trash Retriever disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
- Our liability for any claim related to services is limited to the amount you paid for that service period.
6. Missed Service Policy
- If Trash Retriever misses a scheduled service due to our error, we will reschedule or credit your account. If service is canceled due to official severe weather alerts or warnings that make service unsafe, a service credit will be applied for the missed pickup.
- No refunds or credits are given for missed service due to inaccessible bins, incorrect addresses, or other issues under the customer’s control.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trash Retriever, LLC, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our services or violation of these Terms.
8. Privacy & Data
We collect and use customer information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you agree to that policy.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri and applicable federal law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Clay County, Missouri.
10. Changes to Terms
Trash Retriever reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
